  • It will work....but....

The arm doesn't have much range of adjustment to it and is pretty finicky about its mounting location. Also...don't use the mounting instructions that come with it. Put your helmet on and then (someone helping really works good) move the mirror around until you find the spot that works. My helmet has a built in visor so, with the limited amount of adjustment, I had to get it exactly perfect the first time.

  • good, cheap helmet mirror

I mounted a mirror on my road bike, but didn't have one on my commuter, so I finally succumbed to getting a helmet mirror like everyone else I rode with. It took me a little while to get used to, but now I can adjust it quickly and easily. Several benefits include: I have a mirror regardless of what bike I'm riding, easy assembly, cheap, reliable (I've never had a breakage), unobtrusive, weighs about nothing. Other options out there might be as good, but I've been quite satisfied with Third Eye. About me: I live in Florida, commute 3.7 miles to work on a 1963 Rudge, 1986 Trek 300 or 1974 Raleigh Twenty. I ride ~30 miles on weekends on a Trek 2100 road bike and do an occasional sprint triathlon.

  • use the mirror for rowing

The unit is what was advertised which is fine. The mirror for my use is a little small. So, I attached with velcro a larger diameter round mirror. The vendor supplied the mirro in a very timely manner ( I received it sooner than anticipated).

  • Eyes in the back of my head

I used to have one of these mirrors when I was commuting years ago. I've taken up recreational cycling over the past couple of years and recently, with local roads sporting ice and debris covered shoulders, I've had to get in the road a little more than usual and found I missed my mirror very much. Once I had it in the right position, I dropped a little glue into the adjustable part at the mirror end because a strong wind can move it out of place, plus any time I take the helmet off I might knock it. It's lightweight and removable if desired. I feel much more confident and comfortable on the road being able to look over my shoulder without taking my eyes off what's in front of me and straining my neck to look back.

  • Viewing area way to small

This product simply lacks a mirror sizable enough to work. It is cheap, but that's what $10.00 gets you. I tried it once, I'm not comfortable with its extremely small viewing area. I'm already looking for another one. The seller however did his job well.

  • You get what you paid for

It attaches to your bike helmet with a sticky tape but the tape came loose after one bike ride. So I glued it on. The arm that the mirror attaches to is too short and way to close to my eye which is distracting when riding because it creates a blind spot. It would be much better it the mirror was situated above the line of sight Then you can glance up and check behind you.

  • Not for people with glasses

It's not useful for older user that uses glasses. The view mirror is so small I can't make out the surrounding. I instead purchased the Third Eye side mounted mirrors. Those were indeed the best. I mounted it to both side of my bicycle.

  • I love it, just buy it!

Good helmet rear view mirror that actually sticks. Nice field of view and easily adjustable.

  • Very nice helmet mirror

The mirror applies easily to a bike helmet and seems secure. The mirror does not maintain adjustment, but can easily be re-positioned for viewing.

  • Did Not Work for Me

I was not happy with this purchase. For the brief time I will able to keep the mirror attached to my helmet, it was not steady enough for a good view. The adhesive did not hold long and in the end I sough other options.
