Great startup turbo trainer
I want to keep riding in the winter and wanted to get a fancy direct drive trainer but realized quickly that I may as well get a new bike with what those cost. Not so great
None enough resistance I put it on the highest gear and pedal quickly and there's just not enough resistance and they vibrate. Avid biker here. Needed something indoors to help keep me in shape and in biking shape during the cold winter months. This product delivers. Big time. Lets me enjoy a real biking experience without needing to go to a stationary bike at the gym that tries to simulate the experience of biking through resistance and programs. Spin classes work much better than the gym but can get pricey depending on where you go. Better classes at better facilities are not cheap. Park district classes with lesser teachers are virtually a waste of time. The CycleOps Fluid2 offers a smooth ride that is closer to a true road experience than any stationary bike that I have ever tried including Spin classes. The CycleOps Fluid2 even has a fan on the back side to help keep the rider cool. Plus, it is the quietest trainer as well which was just an added bonus for me. For the cost of 2 months of Spin classes, I found this product. No need to waste time driving to and from Spin classes now that I can use this one from the comfort of home. I shopped around and sampled various bike trainers at various bike stores. This one was easily the best. Definitely worth the extra cost in comparison to other trainers. Solid and sturdy. Will have this product for a while. Do not sell yourself short if you are in the market for a trainer.
