Does the job right the first time
I bought this multimeter after doing a lot of research. I picked this one because it has all the features I need to get the job done right. The multimeter can take a lot of abuse. Great first multimeter
Great multimeter for me. Was bigger than expected, was expecting something the size of a 5" phone, but nah this more the size of phablets. Very very rugged, had a hard time taking off the protective orange casing to check the batteries but I like it this way than to have an easy time with it cuz that would mean the case doesnt fit well to last. 18 gauge wire test leads feel nice quality, doesnt feel cheap at all but the leads arent so great for continuity testing, better test leads should suffice. Note, for the thermocouple adapter, make sure you don't flip the + and - ends of the connector, it makes all readings horribly wrong, things read cool when it hot and hot when its cool and will make you think the meter is broken. Easy to see with all the features of a True RMS meter
Meter is a true RMS with temp probe. Meter dial has great detentes for when you change functions so the dial does NOT just flop around or change functions on its own and readout is very clear and easy to see. I use a fluke 115 at work and but didn't want to spend that kind of money for the name. This one is just as precise and quality made. We now have one at work also. Probes are small enough to stick inside harnesses and also comes with clamps to do amp testing or for longer testing. I use the Hz to test sensors on vehicles and it is extremely accurate. The case around it is very hard and takes shocks well. Easy to put the battery in. When purchasing Klein Meters make sure to pay attention to the Model numbers and letters as if one number or letter is different it is a different meter. Mine was the MM 2000. I paid less than $100 for a new meter and got a $200 meter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Tool with a Great Price
Excellent meter all the way around. Very good value and at the right price on eBay. Found to be very accurate in all functions. Back-lit display is a must, no longer straining your eyes in low lit dim conditions. Would definitely recommend this tool. Well constructed as well. Fuses are expensive as with most high-end tools, this is the only down side to this meter. Note: When replacing batteries or fuses the key to removing the orange protective sleeve is to open up the black stand on the back of the meter. Great Price for a Good Multi-Meter
Sure there are better multi-meters out there, but for a general purpose one that you don't need to worry about this definitely wins on both value and performance. About its only failing is sluggish auto-ranging on resistance measurements.
