Great replacement
Pump motor is same as Hayward, Polaris brands, older style: Century makes them.. It is noticeably different when seeing in action: volute moves forward at start, and it sends more pressure to the pool vac which now needs only 10-15 minutes to get pool clean. It makes a bit more noise, only a bit, and gasps when it shuts off, probably the rectraction of the volute makes that noise. Longevity would be the critical rating factor, but after a few days in action, there is no way to project longevity. I would give it 4 1/2 stars, and that's the highest I would give ANY pump.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
