I use this product by daubing a little of the oil on a Q-tip and placing it carefully in the opening of the ear canal before inserting my hearing aids. If I remember to do this, my hearing aid inserts slips right into my ears and I forget they are there. If I forget as I did this morning, my inserts begin to feel uncomfortable and my reaction is I want to remove them from my ears. I used it for a while, and then got some for a friend. It's very soothing for itchy ears. However, I've found that I can make my own ear oil much cheaper, and it seems to clean out my ears better.
