OEM GM part....replaced the thermostat on 2008 Hummer H3 due to old one being stuck open..."AC OFF" code. Fixed the problem. Have to take off left front tire and the well cover to access the thermostat.

I installed this thermostat in my 2005 Chevy Colorado 2.8 and it resolved my fault code for "engine temp too low" as my old thermostat was stuck open and not allowing the engine to get up to full operating temp. The only reason I deduct 1 star is that this new thermostat allows the engine to run much hotter than I'm use to, well above the halfway mark on the gauge. I've read that this is fairly normal for newer thermostats, but it still seems a bit hot to me. IN any case, it seems like a quality OEM part and it solved my problem.

It was a pain to replace this on the h3,make things easy I drill a small hole on inside the fender to access the top bolt easily.you know what I mean if u have a h3.

Thermostat is of good quality and worked grate after installation. I recommend this product. I installed it in a 2007 GMC Canyon SLE, crew cab, with a 3.7 5 cylinder engine.
