It is the same item that comes with a Samsung set. I had to do a minor re4pair as the batteries would not make a good connection. I used and awl to gently pry the anode side of the battery connection spring so that it functioned correctly. If I didn't the thing would never work as it would not have a power connection.

Remote is not an EXACT replacement for Samsung RMCSPK1AP1. While all of the normal TV remote functions work (via over-the-air channels), it does not work the same as the original remote for my UN55KS8000FXZA. For example, my original remote can turn on my ViP612 Dish receiver and change satellite channels; this replacement cannot. Description does mention that One Connect Media Box and voice commands will not work. Should be expanded to include DISH receivers.

This came as an after market product but works as expected as the original product that came with my Samsung smart TV. The only extra thing is “extra” button on the top right next to 123 button which has no functionality as long as you are using the tv only mode.

Batteries fit loose inside, don't make positive contact so remote is intermittently functional, I tried to stretch springs to try and make tighter contact but the springs were off center and wouldn't hold tight to batteries, ended up taping batteries down to make remote work. Once I got the batteries to stay in place the remote worked as expected.
