great motor, great control, nice positioner.
This motor is strong and can run very slow for precision work. I was looking at a pulley set to reduce speed for about $170. that would slow my industrial walking foot machine down for slow heavy duty precise work. The Eagle EA-750 did the same thing in a 1 hp brushless servo motor with a needle positioner for a bit less money. I like the positioner but I had to adapt it to my Highlead GC0618-1SC. This might have been a challenge for someone who is not used to working with metal.There were not instructions for the positioner and only basic instructions for programing the control unit. It was adequate, though. I had to look up how to set up a needle positioner on YouTube. Also, it is very quiet, especially if you are used to a clutch motor which hums along all of the time. I'm very happy with the upgrade and now I have a spare 3/4hp motor in case I have a motor failure in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works good, directions could be better. I had to use the old mounting bolts from the 1990's era clutch motor with some added spacer washers because the included bolts were too short for my setup. This let me lower the mount a little below the table and use the existing belt with the new motor. The needle positioner works good and there were enough variety of included parts to mount it to my old Singer Industrial. This is my second EA-750 motor setup. Turn this uncontrollable Beast into a very controllable sewing machine. I installed it myself, and was able to use the original belt. I put this on my juki dnu 1541 I like this setup works great highly recommend it

Good choice.
This motor replaced a 1/2 hp motor and with the needle positioned is a quality upgrade to my Juke machine. It took a little work to get it set up but was worth the effort. I sew leather and needed the starting power of the 3/4 hp motor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I'd buy again
