Best printers I've ever come across in 40 years.
I purchased my first printer in 1980. I've purchased them almost yearly since I started buying Brothers. These lasers are simply amazing. I had one go bad on me after years of printing and it was only a roller other than that absolutely nothing. Not a plugged inkjet (It has none) not a paper jam ever! That's right ever! They print fast and don't do the absolute best photo printing out there but still easily good enough to frame an put on the wall. Their "toner" cartridges that comes with them lasts a long time for home printing. I think my first ones lasted 3 years. And they were low yield cartridges that came with the printer. They literally print 1000's and 1000's of sheets with the original cartridges. I have several locations I print from and I've put brothers at all of them. I also have the model up from this with the scanner. Also just as good. Yes they might be a little more money and they might be kind of large. But they are well made and worth every penny. It is so nice not to have printing issues.

Extremely EXPENSIVE toner. Don't buy this printer...
The greed is disgraceful. The print quality is subpar. Absolute ripoff for Toner after the starter cartridges QUICKLY run out. You CANNOT use ANY Aftermarket Toner, the cartridges will NOT work. You are forced to pay over $300 for toner from only BROTHER! I didn't even pay $300 for the entire printer. Brother has become extremely greedy. I used to buy all of their products, but no longer.

If you need a simple color laser printer, look no further. It’s a great size, prints quickly, and the quality is fine. That checks all the boxes for me. My only problem is getting my wife to use her HP printer and leave mine alone.

Very nice printer, the printer quality is excellent. It doesn’t have auto duplex which would have been a good feature to have. It does manual duplex. Don’t pay full price for toner. You can get refurbished/refilled toner cartridges for $50.
