I got the motor ahead of expectations and in great shape. The motor comes cradled in a cushiony but strong foam cutout. Then it is boxed in a strong cardboard box and taped well. I doubt the motor would feel any external shock if it dropped 10'. I wired it to my existing compressor only to find out that when the last motor shorted, it fried one of the wires.
