Training collar for Smaller Dogs only
This might work for small dogs maybe a beagle size dog but it does not work for dogs with thick coats like German shepherds or Pyrenees it's ability to shock and vibrate just does not phase them but it would be okay for a Chihuahua up to maybe a cocker spaniel size dog providing you clear a space for the collar to go so that it can penetrate the hair

range is good,functions are good,better than I thought for the price,battery life seems ok, held charge for 2 weeks now. Only word of caution I had moisture get into the receiver on collar, when my dog took a swim,I found that the charging port rubber plug was disturbed and leaking, I dried it out good and seated it good with a little Vaseline[ careful not to get any on Elec.part] and duck taped that area...works good now .

Nice training tools for dogs that don't respond . . .
This is a good product and it's not expensive (eliminates the problem of always ordering batteries that don't last long). I have dogs that don't always listen. This collar allows me to control the power of suggestion to them. Either bell, buzzer or a slight jolt if they are not responsive.

Times out too soon.
I like the waterproof, rechargeable collar. Has vibration and shock levels. The only thing is when I am trying to work cattle and teach my dog, the collar times out. You have to keep pushing the buttons to keep the collar in working mode. The light also times out, so I lose my black dog to the darkness of the night!

The shock at highest level wouldn't affect behavior. The sound mode is weak as well and the vibration is almost useless. I wish it would have worked better but what do you want for 20 bucks. Maybe next time get higher quality product.

Need better documentation
I have been unable to "pair" transmitter with the collar. Numerous attempts without positive results. I am having my daughter come over to my house to attempt to pair the units. I have not used it for this reason. I really like the appearance of the unit and hope we can get it working properly. I cannot answer the above questions at this time.
