Everything about this unit is OEM excited there is no clip to hold the electrical connector in place. Also the size and shape of the female terminal port is not the same. It is bigger and does not have the contoured shape to match that of the be original which matches the male connector. I had to use a wire tie to ensure it stays connected but I'm not sure if the larger size will compromise the seal on the fitting. The unit works and check engine light no longer comes on

Needed additional adaptor to match connectors on my car. Would have been helpful if they advised so. Ended up paying shipping seperate on each item. Wasted a lot of time. Beware and compare your connectors to the photos and look for adaptors for your year vehicle. The Vent Solenoid is universal to many years but the connections are different.
