Good training lens
Image quality is adequate in that I can identify most ducks in photographs at 1/4 mile, which is great for $55. It is totally manual and you need a lot of light, but if you have it, this lens on my Nikon D3200 (APS-C crop) will rival a 1/2.3 sensor point-and-shoot super-zoom camera at 60x due to greatly reduced noise.
