I have owned the Buck Vanguard for many years and both of my sons have commented on how much they like using it when we hunt together. So I got two for them. The Vanguard hold a good edge and is well made. It's easy to use as we have field dressed many White Tail deer with it. excellent all around knife
Typical Buck quality knife, as expected. Been wanting to get this knife for years and finally did it. It will be used for camping, hunting and other outdoor recreations. Currently using it for making wood shavings for the fireplace for easier starting. Buck VanGurard is one of my favor knife from Buck, I do have one othem that I did puichace in the 90s and still proud of it. Buck makes the best knife, I have different style of buck Hunting Knife that I purchased in the 80s and still works like a charm.
