I thought Preiser was the only miniature source that was so detailed. Preiser is excellent, but I create miniature scenes to sell or give as gifts to special friends, and I can't always afford Preiser. The clouds opened and the light came through... LOL... when I discovered Arttista! Now I have another excellent source of miniatures of a very wide variety! The miniatures are very detailed, true to their size category, and ...affordable! I'm a stickler for detail in my miniatures. The miniatures are painted very well, and what is pictured is what you get. The only thing I'd wish for from Arttista which they may have, but I have not seen, would be some 1900's era miniatures. I'm always looking for Victorians for my Christmas Victorian scenes. Other than that? I'm now an Arttista fan!

Another nicely done 1/48th O gauge figure from Arttista. I love the fact that these are crafted here in the United States by a family and a team of artists. Made in pewter, not plastic. I have at least 80 Arttista figures on my Lionel layout and they always get positive comments from my guests.

These are very life like figures, A tad smaller then the competitive brands. However, the quality and realism make up for that fact. I have yet to find a true to scale, 1/48 figure. I have them from every manufacture. Artista measure at 1/49 scale. I do add color to the eyes and lips, and some hair on the woman figures.

I bought these figures to place on the ice rink on my Lionel Christmas layout. Many visitors how realistic they look. I have the female skater propping up the male so some friends have chuckled at the display. These look so much better than the plastic figures other manufacturers have produced.

1/4" scale model figure of "railroad freight agent" is well made and appears appropriate to scale. Materials are of some metal like pewter and painted with appropriate colors. This figure, like others by Arttista have somewhat drab and utilitarian colors, yet they work outstandingly well on my model layout. Arttista figures are heavy when compared to plastic figures, yet most can 'stand' on their own on a layout or are easily mounted on a piece of clear plastic or right on the scene. Price tends to me higher, sometimes much higher than many plastic figures. They are usually sold individually rather than in bags or small groupings. Arttista figures come in a wide variety and more are added over time. They display well on a model railroad layout or when used in a diorama display. They are made in the USA.Read full review

I love my new bench and it looks super realistic on my layout, just like a bench you would see in the real world! Very well made with great attention to detail.

I have been buying Arttista figures to use on my model railroad layout for years. They add a touch of authenticity to the scenery and buildings and provide added entertainment value. They are well-crafted and come in a variety of occupations, activities, and poses.

Fit perfectly on my layout. It takes a little maneuvering to get the hose (a piece of wire) to lay correctly. Once it si set it looks great

The Arttista #1609 Moose a terrific addition to your O-gauge layout. It is very realistic-looking, and especially worthwhile if like to include wild animals and trees in your O-gauge scenes, like I do.
