  • Solid and lightweight

The Dolica Proline GX series 65 inch aluminum tripod and ball head combo is a very solid tripod for enter-mid level use. It is very sturdy, I've done long exposures and have never worried about my camera falling. The one thing I don't like about it is that the knob to adjust the ball head is quite small and does not work for swiveling to follow a shot (on video or on blurred photographs). Besides that, it's a great tripod!

  • Thank you for everything!

Great purchase. I already have a Proline DOLICA Gx650B204 and wanted a second one to shoot with two cameras (SONY FX3). Loved my order. I was also able to buy extra quick release plates directly from DOLICA so now my tripods each have a second plate if needed. You can never be to sure while on the set!

  • Consider other options

I used this tripod recreationally a few times a week and it worked great when I first bought it but about 2 months after the tripod ball head began coming unattached from the base of the head so basically it just wobbles around all over the place, terrible offsetting my horizontals which is very frustrating because I shoot wide angle. I tried to glue it but it I would not recommend buying this

  • Great value in light, steady tripod

Great value in a solid, portable rig. The 65" Dolica includes a sturdy, zipper carry bag. Ball head included is stable and has degree markings to measure left/right panning. Tension is controlled by screws, a bit of an inconvenience; time will tell about durability. Center post has hook. Legs have three clips and feet can expose points.

  • Trusted tool

Dolica is an excellent product made from substantial materials. Hasn't failed me in my 2 years thus far. Highly recommend.

  • Great and affordable

Thus is simply a great complete and affordable tripod. If course it's not as light and sturdy as a Manfrotto or something, but it's under the $100 mark, which doesn't get any better!

  • Great Product

This is much better than I expected for this price. It's a sturdy piece of equipment that simply works. Unless you're into name brands and worried about how you look out in the field, don't pay $200+ for a tripod and just try this first.
