After ins...talling the ear cups, I hurried to write a review and put the highest score. However, after trying to use headphones, I found a defect, excluding the possibility of full use of my headphones. The product is almost completely identical with the original ear pads, with one exception: 1.The ear cushions are slightly smaller in diameter and thinner ~ 3-4 mm. 2. The outer material is a little stiffer (the original super gentle). After the replacement, the headphones look like new ones. The ear pads are felt a little less comfortable: harder and narrower. And the most unpleasant thing is that because of the fact that the ear cushions have an incorrect shape in the locations of the sensors, the sensors do not work, because of this, the sound of the plasatic and touch pad controller does not work. Before the replacement of the ear cups, everything worked properly. Now, if I put my finger on the sensor, everything works fine. But when the headphones on the head, the sensors do not work, probably due to the fact that due to the irregular shape of the ear cups, the sensors do not fit snugly to the body. On the photographs that I attach to this review, it is clear that the sensor pockets are located at a distance of 6-8 mm from the seam, while on the original ear cushions, the sensor pockets are located 3-4 mm from the seam. I was very impressed with this product.... They fit perfectly they were easy to fit after watching the video that Headphone mate recommended that really helped. I think I would of struggled a bit with out it. I didn't realise how much the sound quality had deteriorated over time as my old ear pads had worn. After putting on these new ear pads my Zik's are like brand new. I can't recommend this product highly enough if you ear pads are looking a bit sick don't hesitate get your self a pair

1. The i...nstructions to change the pads are VERY detailed and I felt comfortable changing the pads on my own. This was the BIGGEST plus for me. It took me maybe 2 views of the video and a very shaky pair of hands, but I did it in under 5 min. 2. The material for the ear covers is comfortable and thin. 3. The padding could have been thicker to my taste (that's the way I like it - the original wasn't thick enough for me either), but there's enough room for me to stuff a bit more in there to reach my optimal level of "cushiness".
