Try a dumb phone!
I made a deliberate decision to quit using a smart phone. I wanted a phone that was as "dumb as possible" without being obsolete. I specifically selected this phone because it does not have a camera. While it does have a circa 2011 data functionality it is for all practical purposes broken. Here's why this is awesome. This phone gets amazing battery life. I charge it every few days, and it still only looses a fraction of its charge. I can take it anywhere. Because it doesn't have a phone, I can take it someplace where smartphones are not allowed, like a courthouse, or a secure installation. Most importantly, I don't spent time staring at this phone like a complete fool. It doesn't have any apps or games or facebook or any of that crap. I can't listen to music on it. I don't even think about it, unless it rings. And I have it set to RING. It doesn't make a dance beat, or repeat a quote from a movie, or make an animal sound. Really my only complaint is that the earpiece could have louder volume.
