  • Outstanding Value, Works Great!!

This antenna is super easy to set up and I am amazed at how well it works. I live in a small town with houses that are close to me. The nearest city is about 12 miles away. I get 11 channels that come in perfect on my tv. I also get a channel that isn't available on my local cable that is now one of my favorite channels. Anyone who is considering getting this antenna and getting rid of cable, definitely go for it. The picture is crystal clear. I am very very pleased with the Mohu Leaf 50.

  • Better than the "as seen on TV" antenna

I purchased this antenna to replaced the "as seen on TV" antenna that claims hundreds of miles reception on TV. I placed the Mohu in several different locations to see where I would get the best service. I finally mounted it in a window that faces the direction of the TV towers. To my surprised it received 39 channels where the "as seen on TV" antenna had only picked up 17 channels before in the same spot. Location and how strong the signal is will determine how many channels you will pick up but for me this antenna works great and was worth the purchase price.

  • Better than rabbit ears, results may vary.

I'd seen good reviews on the Mohu Leaf so bought one to replace some rabbit ears. The Leaf gets better reception on a few stations, but on most it's not so good. Maybe I haven't found the sweet spot on where to hang it, but I have to move it around when I change channels. I tried it with and without the amplifier and there wasn't much difference. Might have to go with an outdoor antenna after all. The Leaf is better than rabbit ears but not as good as I thought it would be. I live in a metro area so TV reception should be easy to get.

  • Mohu Leaf Ultimate antenna

I thought buying expensive hdtv antenna will increase signal strength. This Mohu Leaf does not do any better than my original rabbit ears. After hooked up to tv, I was only getting 4 channels with the possible 16 or so in Reno. I tried different locations within my house the best is only 8 to 10 by the windows. Frustrations make me re-use my old rabbit ears instead, not a good unit at all.

  • Mohu Leaf 50

I paid a higher price for this "indoor" antenna than two others I have purchased in the past. Waste of money. It won't pick up much of anything when mounted indoors although I do have to admit it does ok if you put the antenna outside of a third story window - but this is supposed to be an omni-directional indoor antenna. I even tried putting it (indoors) on the interior of my third story window but not any better. I moved it all around, high and low, even hooked it to a longer coaxial cable and mounted it in may attic with no good results. Yep - have to put it outside the window and only then does it work, but of course it is paper thin and the wind blows it around and it's not waterproof I think.

  • Antenna

I guess I was expecting better reception from this antenna. The consumer reports stated this was the best one out there. I did my homework, and decided to buy this one. It arrived very soon after purchase, and was packaged very well. The seller did a great job in getting it to me at a fair price, less than any place else. And it isn't the sellers fault it doesn't work as expected. The consumer groups that said it was best, maybe didn't test it thoroughly enough. I get a few stations locally, but the antenna is directional, and I have to stand and hold it to get a signal, because it won't pick up stations very good with it mounted. Signal fades in and out and can't watch a whole program without losing signal many times.

  • Mohu Leaf Great deal.

I was skeptical ,but pleasantly surprised. I live in a fringe area outside a major city. With a regular amplified antenna I could only receive 2or3 channels that I could watch. After installing the mohu leaf, I now have 83. Many of these are foreign language and advertising but20 or so are great entertainment. Thanks MOHU!

  • number of channels

I'm in a bad area for getting a signal and purchased Fio's. The only network in area , but they change for each room connection , So We decided to just get the connection in the living room. We like to watch the new's from the bedroom in the morning which The Leaf 50 got us. We were able to get 22 channels in great quality and for the price are very satisfied.

  • too much money for too little performance

I realize that where you are will have an impact on performance and in my case I was better off with the $10 rabbit ears that I was already using. The mohu did bring in a couple more channels, but it lost a few too. The biggest drawback of the mohu is that every time that I want to move it I have to put more holes in the wall. The rabbit ears I could just move.

  • it does not work

80% of local channels were missing. This may be because the product was used despite being advertised as NEW, and then was broken by the original owner, but I did not see signs of physical damage. The receipt in the box showed the original purchase was in 2017. Maybe it worked in 2017? Parts were missing to connect the power, but I managed a workaround for that. It still did not work. Subsequently I bought an $11 antenna made by Phillips. It has not USB powered and all 68 channels in my area come in perfectly even though the TV is in a "dead" area of the house. So, with or without power MOHU is a dismal failure.
