I bought these shocks with money earned by repairing automobiles for a living. At 53 yrs old, i've compiled 30+ years of professional experience as an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician. I have purchased and installed more shocks than I can count. Literally. When I decided to hang new ones on my Xterra and my 1st gen 4Runner, there was no other choice. Value is not, in my opinion and professional experience, determined by price. It is actually measured best in and by satisfaction. Having said that, Bilstein is far from the least expensive product. However, by the same token, they are also far and away less expensive than a plethora of other offerings.
