Sooner or later, your are going to break your rod tip at a most inopertune time. This looks like a great kit to have when that day comes. The three size tips should work for most light to med/heavy rods (2#-20# test line). Hopefully you'll never have to use it but you'll be glad to have this on board if you do, like when the fish was so big, it broke the tip right off!
