KYB Excel-G shocks look to be better constructed.

KYB Shocks for Honda Odyssey
These are great replacement shocks for your Honda. There are not many quality brand replacements that fit the Odyssey. KYBs are made in Japan. OEM have better dampening I think, maybe due to them being oil filled rather than gas...but the KYB is close. It's all about HANDLING!
I installed a pair of these shocks on the rear of our '10 Odyssey, and was thrilled with the handling improvement! The Odyssey tends to oversteer, and I have fought that with different tires and various inflation schemes; some helped, but the KYB shocks bought about a fully neutral handling, neither understeer nor oversteer.
