Excellent Macro!
In a word...WOW! This has quickly become my go to lens for macro work. I shoot a lot of macro photography. This lens allows me to get very close to the smallest of details of my subject. This holds razor sharp focus very well with minimal aberrations of any kind.

Good lens but old design and technology
Rebadged older Minolta Maxxum lens. Image quality is wonderful, auto focus is reasonably fast and accurate. I’m using it with my a850 and a77 with no hiccups, it would benefit from SSM but Sony gave up on the Minolta A mount long ago with no desire to support newer A mount digital slr and slt cameras.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
