Product Information
The Sony STR D565 is a stereo receiver designed for use in homes. The receiver features connection options for external audio devices, connection options for external video devices, multiple playing modes, and other features. Connection options available with the Sony receiver include input and output to secondary devices. The stereo component receives incoming signals from devices such as CD player, VCR, or tape deck. It then routes the sound signals through the receiver and out to the connected speakers. Output options for the home stereo receiver route sound to secondary components such as a subwoofer or recording device. The unit also receives incoming radio frequencies. The internal radio tuner on the Sony STR D565allows the unit to receive AM and FM frequencies for playback. Stations can be saved to programmable preset buttons for quick access. The Sony receiver is connectable with up to five speakers. Two front speakers, two rear speakers, and a center speaker are options for the receiver. Users can switch between active speakers on the home stereo receiver. All speakers can be used together for surround sound, the front and rear speaker can be used together, or the front or rear speakers can be used independently for two-channel output. sony home theater system
i'm so glad to find a replacement for my old one that the outputs blown due to speaker wires shorting too many times. the receiver has a built in thermal shut down that works great, but it was my fault that is shorted out too many times but this is a newer model than my old one and works great with the modern high def television sets. the surround is great!!!! and not to mention it has plenty of power i never have to go above half volume. the owner kept it in great shape and the price was well worth every penny. thanks again for this great sale!!!!! sincerely, bk.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
