  • Poor Build Quality

There are a couple of issues with this stand that you should be aware of. The main legs are screwed together with plastic knobs on metal threaded bolts. The alignment of the welded-on nuts is not good, so the screws didn't line up. I had to use pliers and that broke the plastic knob connection to one of the screws. The threaded holes on the main face of the stand are loaded with the paint that is applied to the stand. When you put the small screws in to hold your equipment, you may have to use a drill with a screwdriver bit. I did. A regular screwdriver wouldn't turn them because the threads are that loaded with paint. That much torque tears up the slots in the screws and is almost sharp enough to cut. The screws are really soft metal. Bottom line? Poor build quality. If I had known it would be this bad I would have bought some metal angle stock and just built one myself. Now that it's together it will work, as long as nothing has to change. In an audio studio that's not likely.

  • Just what the CCNA 2 be needed :-)

Lightweight, stable, sturdy and capable of holding 5 stacked (normally rack-mounted) CISCO, foundry, Bay Networks and other internetworking devices (Routers and switches) safely and securely. Nice too is the ability to get at the equipment from all sides, not just the front and back. Well.. studied ICND1 and 2 and passed the test. Now to order more equipment and go for my CCIE :-)

  • Good quality!!! Sturdy and worth the money.

A bargain for a rack that is awesome for a studio. I would order again. I found it better to use different screws though. Heavy duty and well built.

  • This is a great rack for the price!

When I first ordered this rack, I was a little leery because of the low price. Boy was I surprised! I mounted three Cisco switches and three routers on it, along with the associated cabling and it is very stable and sturdy. It comes with enough mounting screws to fill each hole. I am very happy with my purchase.

  • Nice little rack

This rack is not all that bad. If you are on a shoe string budget and need to organize your routers and switches, then this would be a good fit. I have mounted two half depth servers in it. I am not a big fan of it being angled back, but it does the job. If you are going to put routers and switches (1 to 2u in size) then you would be fine. If you are going to put servers (half depth 1u) then you would want to put those in the bottom. It would help with the support.

  • Nice Item for the price

It's stern, easy to assemble. For IT professionals setting up lab environments at home, this is cheap and durable for those who are on a budget.

  • I will rate it 4, it is a good quality and sturdy product but one of the screw would not get in, there is a problem with the threading.
