Good quality kit for sure. The plastic parts are the reason why I do not give the fifth star. The snap-on type clips on the vest are made of plastic; I have a doubt. Otherwise, the vest is very well made. The 5000 stabilizer is a piece of quality; all metal made except for the quick release plate in plastic. I tried my Sony nxcam on it and here, I have had my second doubt. If I push even a little bit on the camera, the plate suffers some type of distortion. Be careful. I love the adjusment possibilities for the weighs at the base of the stabilizer; this is much better than what is found on cheap units. It should provide easy integration of essential tools like a 7 inches monitor along the main pole or in addition with the weighs. Last note: the user manual is in pdf and sent via email (maybe it is offered on the web). This manual has 17 pages (11 juste for the stabilizer) with many pictures which demonstrate how to perfectly balance the system. Be patient, it can take a lot of time to find out the perfect match between the different adjustments. Same thing for a professional steadycam at 10k dollars. Finally, I'm very happy with my purchase.
