these bags are made of material that lifeboats should be made of ! durable and an easy install. less than two hours in spring Michigan temperatures. the air lines snaked through the frame for a neat, out of sight job. Hauled my trailer for the first time, and it was great. no sag, jounce or bounce. steering and headlights, normal. You won't be sorry with the cost, or function.

I just installed today 0n my 2015 Ram 1500 2WD. Took me about 2.5 hours. Haven't yet hooked up me travel trailer to try them out. The drivers side I installed from the bottom up. The passenger side, I had the go from the top down. I found it easier to remove both inner wheel liners to access the tops of the bags to connect the airlines. I separated the left and right supply lines instead of using the "T".

After much consideration I made the plunge and invested in the Air Lift 1000 kit. My needs are pretty simple with four trailers I need to pull but really can’t justify a 3/4 ton truck for every day use. My truck is a 2014 Ram 1500 4X4 Laramie with 50K miles. I run Michelin tires 275/60/20 factory size. My truck has the factory 3.92 gear and the awesome 8 speed automatic transmission. The trailers are as follows: 7’X20’ flatbed 7000 lbs capacity, 6’X12’ dump trailer 7000 lbs capacity, 20’ Tahoe 196 OB Deck Boat weighs 4000 lbs and a 33’ bumper pull Camper weighs 8000 lbs with 850 lbs tongue weight. The camper is the real reason I purchased the Air Lift 1000 kit. With the heavy tongue weight it drives the rear axle to the bump stops on a regular basis. With just 30 pounds of pressure in the Air Lift 1000 kit I have yet to hit the bump stops and I believe I have much better control of the load. So far so good! As for installation... if you can change a tire or install a factory set of step bars you can do this project. The only thing I did to aid in the installation was to remove the spare tire while running the air lines as I wanted to get the air lines up and out of the way as best as I could. Have fun and happy towing!Read full review

Installation went good, only one suggestion, be careful with the little clamps, they have a way of shooting off the pliers and disappearing, the mfg should include on extra in each kit. Took a few hours to get installed, no leaks, work great, now can't wait to tow our trailer and see how they pick the slight sag in the rear end up.
