Basic replacement, nothing more...
It's a very inexpensive, basic alternative to an OEM unit. No features...simply a fuel cap. It does not have provisions to attach the stock tether, therefore, you'd have to rest it on the trunk of the car while fueling. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to have something to allow placement during fill-ups. I'll have to look at it in-depth next time I'm at the gas station, but I don't recall seeing any pressure-regulated venting features as does the stock unit. Not sure how this will impact the fuel system long term. I'm using it on my daily beater/driver 03 Accord EX-V6 so not overly concerned but also wouldn't want to damage anything either. The gas cap fits great , i kinda jumped the gun on getting this , i looked later and found an exact lexus gas cap for about $2 more and I'm kicking myself for not getting that one. My girl likes this one better as she didn't like the piece where its attached to the car. Im not trying to knock this little fella cause he's working out just fine.
