I replaced standard NGK spark plugs (non platinum) in my 2002 Mazda Miata. The plugs I took out were gapped at approx. .050". I gapped the BKR5EGP`S at .043" as specified by Mazda. The car is smoother on initial take off now it has manual transmission and was prone to die upon take off....finicky about clutch engagement. Since installation of the Platinum`s it is less apt to die from a dead stop and the idle seems smoother. I do not notice any difference in performance other than the smoother operation. The new plugs have proven positive thus far....about 500 miles.

Their gaped perfect out of box and work oem for my 205 hyundai tucson and u only ned the shop to change the back 3 cause the front 3 are DIY which takes a whopping 30 minutes to change. Changing the front 3 saves you about $70 when u DIY.

Use to rev to over 2,000 rpms and stay for a minute or so. Started up twice it revs to 2,000 then right away down to 1,500. Sounded rough before now sounds so smooth. Great Product and they are GAPED perfectly for 2.7 Suzuki XL7
