It does the job
Its a soft pad, so it will move around and scrunch up around your feet as its used, but the sensors work well and consistently. I'm able to hit perfect timings in DDR with it. I recommend attaching the pad to a sized piece of plywood or strong cardboard for some extra structure and to help keep it from moving around too much.
