Arrived a day early and item was as described.
Item arrived a day earlier than expected. The CPU was wrapped with bubble wrap but as it has pads, not pins, that was more than adequate to protect it. Had to clean a bit of residual thermal paste but that is to be expected. Expect a few reboots of your system to allow the OS to reconfigure for the new CPU. Great Processor Even Though Old
It's several generations old but man is this processor worth it. Pair it with a good GPU and you'll be getting most games running at 60+ frames per second. Slap a cooler on this puppy and you're good for a long time. One minor thing is that some motherboards need to have their BIOS updated to support this beast of a CPU.
