The battery itself was good. After installing it, my phone worked like new. A week after installing it, however, my phone broke down. Further investigation yielded that a problem had probably occurred with the motherboard. It is likely that by installing the new battery, I broke something. As such, the battery itself is as advertised. Be wary, however, of causing damage to your phone when installing the battery.

the first one they sent me was like my old original battery which was not working anymore. they sent me another one which is much better than the previous one but next time I won't go for batteries since it is a waste of time and money. My old battery refused to get recharged, so I just needed a battery that extends my Nexus 5 life bit further since I don't really see any phone I would want to spend on since Nexus 5 is still a perfectly good phone. If this battery lasts a year I am very happy. Battery seems to hold the charge as I expected. Mainly been on standby for 24 hours and still 70% left and if I recall correctly 3 days was about what phone lasted when it was new. I didn't use the toolset that came with the battery.
