A positive review of a small amp
Although it says 40 watts per channel, this is a peak value, The real power is around 8-10 watts RMS per channel. This is plenty to power some small speakers for my bench and desk area. I also use one at work to operate as an input selector for some audio devices I use and a headphone amp. More than satisfactory for this use. Full featured little amp
I have two of these amps. One is used at work as a desk amp for a small sound system. The other is used as a back channel amp for an old 4-channel stereo system I used long ago. I have "rebuilt" my first stereo system I had back in High School. I couldn't find my original rear amp but this one fit the need just fine. Fantastic for a budget system
I decided to get back into vinyl, without spending a ton! I picked up this amp, a Technics turntable (from a local vintage store) speakers and a basic Phono stage. Works like a champ! Rocking the 80's again. The amp is NOT super high end, and doesn’t have a million bells and whistles. I can play both the TT and my TV through it and it sounds great on both and yes, it is LOUD if you like it like that. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid amp to push a couple of speakers, this is not for audiophiles who are going to nit-pick everything it doesn’t do, but if you just want to hear your vintage press of Hendrix again as it was meant to be this is for you!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Features Great Value
It has many features and plenty of power, especially for the price! I bought it mostly for the remote control feature, which I wanted to for the audio of my large screen TV. It was confusing to find that the rear input jacks did not work with the remote, but I soon discovered the front input jack did, and I was up and running! The unit is small, not obtrusive, has 40w/channel remote volume and on off features. That is what I wanted!
