This is an oven heating element which was shipped in an envelope with no bend protection. At all. The end terminals were bent at almost 45 degrees versus being straight and the entire element was distorted. We bent it back to make it fit in oven location but am certain we shortened the life of it. A piece of cardboard in the envelope would have changed everything...
