The car was having sputtering, idle, and throttle issues. However, it was sporadic and would last for different amounts of time. I read many articles and watched videos and came learned the this model lexus were well known for having faulty capacitors leaking onto the circuit boards. Now knowing this I pulled the original one out of the car and opened it up. Sure enough there were two areas that you can see where the capacitors were leaking. I cleaned up around them as much as I could and then put it back together so that I could continue to use the car. It really seemed to help. The check engine light was still on, but the car was running fine. Once I received this one I swapped them out and the check engine light was gone and the car seems to be running good.
