Works well. Pretty basic. Affordable.
Being much cheaper than some of the alternatives, this set of intercoms does the job and is worth the money. Doesn’t have all the features of some of the other ones, and I had to experiment with the few configurations it does have before I got the hang of it, but I’m happy with them. Just needed something for calling someone on the other end of the house in short intervals. Works pretty well for that. I bought two pairs of these, and they all work together on the same network. Two downstairs and two upstairs. One is even in my garage, which is on the other side of an exterior wall with a heavy door. Works just fine. The sound isn’t always super clear, and sometimes the person on the receiving end has to ask the person talking to repeat what they said, but if you keep your mouth far enough away from the device, and speak clearly, it usually isn’t a problem. Only complaint is that I had to buy AC power adaptors for each one separately. They didn’t come with them. But I was aware of that when I purchased, and the generic AC adaptors I found (also on eBay) work great, and were cheap. You can use AA batteries in these as well, even as a backup, while the cord is plugged in at the same time. I have 3 of mine on the AC adaptors, and one is on battery only, so it is more portable. Haven’t had the batteries die yet in the 6 months I’ve been using them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

they don't disclose the most BASIC information
Seller doesn't say that it DOESN'T COME WITH A 9V POWER ADAPTER. Then you call them, and they put you on hold and don't answer. So you don't know WHICH power adapter, which size, etc. It's not fraud, it's just crummy. Buyer would expect to be able to plug in the unit WITHOUT stupid hassles of no adapter, and no way to get one. I had to buy a third party adapter, spend a couple of hours hassling with finding the right one. NO. Don't buy from these guys! Yes, the unit now works good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

works to well
we have a small 3400 sq ft home and I purchased six(6) of these units to install through out the home. The house is plaster and lath, divided via a 9 inch brick wall.
