Great when you get hungry for the taste of egg drop soup without the restaurant!
It may not be like that you’d get in an oriental restaurant, but it’s close! The egg gives it the “body” that you expect in egg drop soup and the boiling water hydrates the herbs and other ingredients. Love it!
it really makes soup better, tastier. i use it when i can find it, it is usually gone from the supermarket section that has other sunbird products, which seems strange, even though there is a space for it.
