klutch 3/8 torque wrnch 5-80 f-lbs

This product is good for the money, but be warned you get what you pay for... the low and high end torques cannot be relied upon as accurate and as such you are at risk of shearing bolts or over compressing gaskets etc. However, as a general purpose wrench that covers 15-65 ft lbs then this is a good buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My car is out of warranty already, so I do the regular service by my own, and this wrench comes handy when replacing the spark plugs and for the oil plug, so that they are tightened to the right torque. Used it once. Absolute Garbage!!!
Used it once to torque my valve cover down @ 8.2 ft/lbs Stored it as the manual told me to do when i finished. Went to use it 2 days later @ roughly 35ft/lbs and it never clicked again. As a result i over tightened my oil pan to my block and now the oil pan gasket is leaking oil. So thanks for selling hot garbage Pittsburgh. Cheaply Made
The torque increments are hard to figure out when setting the exact torque, because of how they have it numbered? The lock down doesn't work that well. Good for ur buck
It's pretty nice it's big enuff to grab and give you leverage if you need it but it clicks not very load but u can hear it .
