The STANDARD!
I've had my 5000 Accelerator for many years. All original parts and it still feels great...just bought another used one...same vintage...90s. Built like a tank and super reliable! I very rarely have to adjust the spring tension or anything else. The Accelerator is not only quick but very sensitive to dynamic playing. Goes from quiet, controlled heel down technique to gonzo, full on stomping rock technique with no issues. Heel up, too! It takes a beating and stays where you set it! Can't say enough good things! DW had been the standard pedal in the industry for years...for a very good reason! Even players who endorse different brands of drums continue to use DW pedals! I also use a DW hat stand as well.
