    Nice trackball for the price.

    For mouse like trackballs, ie ones that use your fingers instead of your thumb, this is my 2nd favorite of all time. It's fine. It's nice. But, I've realized that modern laser mice with high definition resolution I'm able to also minimize my wrist movements - the main need for a trackball. I'm glad I've got it. I do use it... It is nice for detail work.

    imperfect, but close

    I have 3 of these, they are quite good, nearly great. Once you are accustomed to the convenience, nothing else really compares., as the button/scroll layout is convenient and effective, almost [but not quite] ideal. However, the side buttons on all of them lack any kind of crispness. they are kind of crunchy, a BIG detriment, and an obvious design flaw. Also the scroll is super sensitive, and software adjustment responses are either too slow or too quick. Hard to get right. Until something better comes along, they are my pointing device of choice. [something of a "Hobson's choice," but what the hey...] BK p.s.: shipping was excellent
