Recoil starter parrts.
Bought this to repair a Poulan pro chainsaw. The parts are good as new. My recoil starter functions properly once again. Would not recommend buying a saw that uses this type of recoil because it wears out rather quickly. My saw is only five years old.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

too early to tell/it did not solve the problem
Although this is the first time I have used the kit it appears that it is of acceptable quality. My only concern is the center screw, it seems to be tight and in fact will stop the cord from retracting. The shaft on the screw should be long enough to stop the screw before it stops the retraction. I have installed the kit and tried the starter. The torsion spring has elongated and is not functional. I had the same problem before I installed the kit and now it is no longer possible to start the chains saw.
