This jack hammer was needed for a specific job, making post holes in rocky ground. I am very impressed, it is relatively light and since I'm 77 I appreciate that. It is powerful, the chisel bit chewed through our rocky soil and the hardest job was using a conventional post hole digger to lift out the spoil. I would have appreciated a longer bit for getting deeper into the hole, but most people would not be using this tool for that job. I'm half way through the 40 holes that I have to dig and it works very well, even my wife is able to have a go at it. I am using a long extension lead of conventional size, a heavy duty cable was not needed.

Little experience with this type of.tool as.a.DIYer, but I can say it was very easy to use. Went through concrete like butter, and seemed.to be solidly put together. 1 drawback, is that given the size of the bits i.e. 1-1/8th shank, it's been difficult to find a scraper bit that would fit this demo hammer. Whilst the hammer comes with 2 bits for breaking concrete, neither are good.for.removing thinset.

It was delivered with no oil in the tool and no oil to fill it with. Read the instructions and it stated Shell 40 weight. Well the local Shell stations don't carry 40 weight. checked 2 major auto parts stores with no luck so I ordered some and it took 2 weeks to get.Just got the oil yesterday!! had to rent a jack hammer to do my project so I'm really not to happy at this point. I will put oil in it and it will most likely get used soon enough. Wish someone had a little quality control!!!!!!!

One of the holes in the base was stripped out or drilled and tapped incorrectly so the bolt would not tighten. Actually it just fell through. Other than that it is a great deal and when we fix that it will be sturdy (we have tried it out anyway). Our fix will be to drill a different hole close by and tap it for the threads.

I waited a while after the purchase to write my review to make sure it was used and held up. Did it ever! I completed 2 huge concrete excavation jobs with only this tool and it knocked them out no problem. Some of the concrete on one job was almost 12 inches in some spots. I’m sure a more expensive model would have made it easier but this kept chugging along. Price vs performance it is the best tool I have ever bought.

The power of the tools. The onlything you need to put more information about the tools because if you are buying power tools for another country one important thing we need to know if the power supply in that country is ok for the tools the country I am from only have 50hz I could not find that information anywhere the tools we take home needs 50/60hz.

Got here quickly, and intact. Used it on concrete foundation and it blew through it like butter in 98 degree weather. Smooth action , very little recoil. You have to make sure its under load when you start or it just sits. Starts at 7 amp then backs to 5.8 amp running. So the plug stays cool to the touch even after several minutes. Means its fine with thinner extension cords. Motor casing gets warm after 10 minutes, which is normal enough. let it cool some. Then again, it was 98 degree weather when i used it. This is a impressive machine for the price. You dont need a large upright. Even the middle handle itself doubles as a roller support to balance it in horizontal tight spaces. So you could do foundation work under a house with it. If you buy the spade bit. Two thumbs up with this puppy so far. I love it.Read full review

This is a solid and serious piece of equipment. It weighs in about 30 lbs, so it takes a bit of manhandling especially if you are using is above the level or horizontally. Once you've got the hang of controlling it, it gets easier though. It is not a Mickey Mouse drill! It's surprisingly powerful and needs to be treated with respect. I was removing concrete steps in a confined space and it bounced off the first step launching towards my unprotected feet. I had taken a wide stance for stability so I was able to control it, but it's a reminder to take care if you are operating in awkward positions. Great value for money!

Completed my job a lot quicker with this tool. Put some puli in it and ran it for about 2hrs straight with no issues. Instructions need a little more detail but YouTube helped out on setting up. Will recommend to fellow construction workers.
