Although I've only had the Wiim Pro for less than a week, I'm very impressed with th sound produced from this streamer. I have it connected to a pair of Klipsch The Fives in our dining area of the kitchen. Amazing value for your streaming dollar
This streamer is about 90% as good as the Bluesound Node 2i that I last had for 1/4 the price. With that savings you can buy a decent DAC like a Topping E50 or a Geshelli Labs and be as good or better on sound. What is it missing? No HDMI port, no native Radio Paradise (through TuneIn Radio does not count), no native Neil young Archives. If you have an Android phone you can use the Chromecast to overcome that albeit without gapless audio. It’s a quality piece of kit.

It came and “out of the box” it was running! Was so impressed, I got another one! I downloaded Google Cast and it found them with no problem. I put them in a group, and went to my software ad selected the group, and I have multi-room audio playback! For the price this is great value. The sound is decent. A bit rolled off in the mids but very acceptable with an equal so you can adjust for your preference. With external DAC even better.
