Not providing the stated amplification
Very little amplification. I've got a signal strength meter on my Tivo, and it showed very little improvement (none on some channels). For comparison, I took out the 8 dB amplified splitter that I'm currently using, and the meter showed a much larger drop in strength -- hence my conclusion that this gadget isn't working as advertised.
