Repair or upgrade your Fender bass guitar with these vintage, 70s tuning machines. These machines should fit vintage Precision, Jazz and Telecaster basses with 18 millimeter peg-head holes. The tuning machines feature an attractive, chrome finish. This is a set of four for four-string basses. Included are all of the necessary screws and hardware needed to install the parts. Probably wouldn't buy again for one simple reason...
Size. These tuners on the back are HUGE. See I was thinking oh hey not only do these have Fender stamped in them (awesome) but they seem like a great pick for some aftermarket tuners to go with my brand new Precision neck. See I don't have proper tools or a workspace anymore for guitar mods, so the quality of the work I can do isn't good enough for me and so I bought Fender branded tuners so they'd fit in the predrilled spots on my neck. These don't. They're way bigger on the back then a standard Fender bass tuner and as such I had to drill the holes myself. Which isn't a big deal, in the end I'm sure no one looking from the front will notice that the tuners aren't lined up nicely but from the back it's very obvious. So a smooth and pretty tuner that is pleasing to a Fender fanboy like myself is about as pleasing as some no name cheapies because those cheapies while not being as smooth or having Fender stamped in them or well made would have at least gone into the stock screw holes saving me time and making the back look much better. So in the future I guess I'll be looking for non-Fender tuners but seeing as I didn't want to take a loss on these they're staying.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just perfect.
Perfect fit on my Allparts 51 pbass neck. Ferrules slide right in place and tuners the same like magic. The wide flat part doesnt over extend the head stock at any point. I couldnt be happier with this purchase. Pleased I didnt go the cheap MIM or squier route.
