I am an avid catfisherman and I fish mostly year round. I LOVE fishing colder weather and many times I beach my boat on a bank and pretty much camp out for the night. Living in the south you can be warm 1 minute and cool the next. On 1 warm night to start, a small rain storm came through and got us pretty wet, as soon as the sun went down it began to cool down rapidly so we needed a fire and we needed it pretty fast. We had a rip roaring fire within about 15-20 minutes using this tool. I ALWAYS keep firestarting material with me regardless but it was this pocket bellows that REALLY sped up the heat after collecting enough wood to get things started. This ingenious tool is a essential part of my kit. If you have ever struggled to start a fire, or more specifically tried to keep a dying fire going then you will fully appreciate what this piece of equipment brings to the table. This product is really handy. I've used mine for starting a firepit to sit around, making fire in deer camp, and making fire in a wood stove in my dad's cabin. Every single time it has worked very good. I can't see how a fire gets started without one, well, they just take a bit longer without. Being able to directly blow on a hot area to get oxygen in there is just a handy ability. Not having to stoop down so far, getting smoke in the face is a plus. Only drawbacks I can say are that it is a bit spendy when compared to other offerings online. Also, after use it will have some moisture in it that you're going to want to let dry off. Those are the only real cons that I can think of, but the benefit of this tool far outweighs them and makes them negligible. Buy it, you won't regret it. I do not go camping without the pocket bellows made by this company. With it, you do not run the risk of burning your face, getting hot ash in your eye, hair, clothing or coat and inhaling awful smoke. Additionally, you are able to be safe and comfortable, cool distance from the fire and yet able to control the addition of oxygen and force to make it like a furnace easily! Have had my son use it and he adores it as he does camp all over the country. I bought a third as a gift. If you are smart you will get more than one so you are never without it. It folds, telescopes without slop and does the job well. I would recommend the original product NOT a knockoff. You will be extremely happy with this product and sing its praise.
