If you need one you know it already maybe you just want a second one?
This is my 2nd one and they work grate I love the convenience of having one ready to go well the others being prepped and vice versa, if you don't have a second or in my case 3rd yet you won't regret having them trust me there perfect for parties or just family and friends at the grill.

Shaft seal leaks just like the old one !
The Shaft seal leaks. I purchased this assembly because the original Osterizer blade assembly Shaft Seal leaked and appeared warn out.. Although this assembly is new it still leaks nasty gunk between the shaft and brass bearing just like the original.. What I can see on the bottom can be wiped off even though it's a nuisance.. However how much gunk is getting into the food?? Totally unacceptable for food preparation !!

The blades are nor as sharp as the original one!! Will it be as effective when using it with certain foods???? THAT is the big question.

Thinner metal than original
The bearing housing is a little bit to large in diameter to fit into the screw on base. I will need to file it down if I need to use it. Also, the blade and metal plate are much thinner than the original.

Stripped out immediately.
Attached to blender pitcher and then to the blender motor. The blender blade assembly stripped out immediately. Apparently the metal 'female' part of the blade assembly is made of very soft metal; much softer that the 'male' part of the blender motor. I junked it.
