Exceeding Expectations!
Just received. Fast shipping. Very well constructed. Beautiful. I am an experienced home renovator and experienced welder. I could have made my own, but would have cost me much more in material and my time. The welding is excellent! The powder coating is excellent! Installing one of these gates on my personal residence. I rarely review unless tested some length of time, BUT this is a bargain and want others to experience this quality, fabulous product. Heavy duty. The posts are built to sink about 33" into the ground. Hinges are simple to install and can be lubricated with zerk fittings and a ball bearing in hinges. I used a power post hole digger, but still had to make the holes deeper to sink the gate posts to recommended depth. Used quick setting cement, highly suggested. Get four 50lb bags. Shipping to Atlanta (free) took less than a week. The gate package weighs in at 378 pounds, plus package with gate posts. Super well packaged in plywood and padding. Bring some help to get the truck driver unload. Package does have helpful casters, but it took four people to unload. Three of us and truck driver. I am ok with the weight as this is a very substantial gate that will pass the test of time. Once the package was opened, two strong people can carry each individual gate.
