Was just what I wanted...
Was an early buyer of the system and it is really nice to have a good wifi signal throughout the building. As you move from one area to another, your phone/tablet automatically and seamlessly connects to the strongest router. These work well
I was having trouble with some buffering in my upstairs bedrooms. I'm in a 3 level house and the router is in the basement. I have FIOS with 75/75 speeds and it works as advertised. But the upper bedrooms sometimes have buffering/slow speeds. I cut the cord and have Amazon Firesticks on all of the 5 tv's, and they require internet. I got the 3 Luma's, one for each floor. The speed in the upper floor and improved, the speeds are about 20-30MBPS now. I give Luma 4 stars. They don't get a 5 star rating for the following.... With the app, the upload/download speeds never change, which are 82up and 51 down, it never changes. It's not an up to date number. And the second ding (minor), is that... the LUMA devices don't light up indicating the current status. When they are doing what they are supposed to do, they are not illuminated. I thought that a blue light indicated all is well, maybe a red light would indicate a problem. Like I said, not a big deal, but you need to look at the app to see the status of the three LUMA's. All in all, I'm happy so far. I've only had these for a week, and so far, no internet downtime!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

WIFI issues? LUMA will fix it!
My internet provider modem / router/ WIFI unit was simply no longer working well, it did fine with just a few connected devices but when you keep adding devices and neighbors keep adding (interfering) wifi devices the WIFI airways simply no longer worked well in my home. Enter LUMA, placing a few around the house fixed ALL my internet issues. My WIFI is now is as fast as my hardwired connections. Once set up ( using my smartphone) I can now forget about my WIFI, no more rebooting the modem or Netflix buffering...I have perfect, fast, reliable, WIFI in every corner of my house. PERFECT!

can not use, Company support and web site gone. can not program them.
found out the company is out of business. and you have to use their web site and app to program them. they took the web site down so the app will not work any longer. I have bought these same ones 3 years ago and were great! but one died and had to replace it. Now I find out I can not add one Lumas to the network with out logging into the site. Dead spots gone.....
WIFI coverage isn’t able to do the job, in large houses. Even well placed routers, there are dead zones. Now there’s good bandwidth everywhere. Works like a champ, simple setup, and just works. Down side, limited overall control, IP is fixed. All in all, these things are small issues when the coverage is pumping out over 26Mbps at the farthest point. I would recommend this for those that need access, and don’t mind the simplicity of the setup. NOTE: When setting these units up, reset them first, then follow the directions.
