Very well made for banana plugs but be aware that if you use spades the connection will be tenuous at best
Very well made considering the wealth of speaker switches that are out there. You can have the speakers in series or choose to have 2 pair switching in parallel depending on the outputs you choose. I added a picture of that section of the manual but be aware that if you use spades the connection will be tenuous at best because one side the spade will contact with is plastic and the other side has the gold contact slightly recessed below the plastic. Also added a picture of this.

Perfect for controlling my vintage speakers
I use this unit to control speakers in three listening zones in my home. Two of these zones have different speakers types with different sensitivities and volume outputs. The unit is perfect for equalizing these volumes. I do agree with the manufacturer that you should use pin connectors to avoid accidentally shorting across wires in the back.
